ECN would like to thank the past board for their valuable input and strategic advice during the period 2017 to  2019, which included in-depth work on the regulatory developments within the European Union with regard to the Capital Markets Union, and especially the ECSP (European Crowdfunding Service Provider regulation), as well as developments with regard to innovative technologies in alternative finance, especially blockchain, match funding schemes and the clean energy transition. The executive board was reappointed without change, while the non-executive board was expanded to provide better geographic and industry sector representation. We would like to thank the parting non-executive board members, namely Tero Weckroth, Invesdor, Finland and Tino Kreßner, Startnext, Germany for their time and support and those staying on, for their continued interest in building a harmonised and professional crowdfunding industry in Europe. We also welcome our new members of the non-Executive Board and are looking forward to an active two years. The new ECN Board of non-Executive Directors 2019-2021 was elected in June 2019 and consists of
