Martin Cremer, Deputy Head, Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance


martin_cremerGathering expertise for over 14 years and working with various financial institutions Mr. Martin Cremer has a strong banking background, combining structuring expertise of complex private equity debt transactions with international negotiation skills. Before joining Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2011, he has worked as a free-lance debt advisor and held various positions at Unicredit Corporates & Markets in Germany and France, as well as BNP Paribas, lastly as Director Leveraged Finance. His recent work experience with Frankfurt School includes identifying and negotiating terms with private equity investors in the context of designing, structuring and implementing a seed capital assistance facility initiated by the United Nations Environment Program in sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia aimed to help clean energy entrepreneurs access enterprise development support and early stage seed capital.
